Privacy policy

Effective date: 28 October 2026

This policy explains how Select Plastics LLC collects, uses, and shares personal information through selectplastics.net, website inquiries and job applications, related call tracking, and our employee SMS program. It does not cover all employment or personnel records. Our website provides information and inquiry forms; it does not accept online orders or payments.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide includes your name, company, email address, phone number, project details, and other information you submit through our contact, quote, and job application forms or communications with us.

Website technologies collect browsing and device information, including IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, cookie or similar identifiers, pages viewed, referral sources, and conversion events. Forms also capture advertising click identifiers and campaign parameters to identify how visitors found us.

CallRail tracks callers' phone numbers, call duration, and traffic sources. Employee SMS information includes names, mobile numbers, message contents, dates and times, and consent or opt-out records.

2. How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries and quote requests, review job applications, communicate about work matters, operate and improve the website, prevent form spam, understand website traffic and phone leads, measure advertising, and build advertising and retargeting audiences. Employee SMS information is used for work communications and managing messaging preferences.

3. Providers and recipients

Shopify hosts the website and provides website analytics. Typeform hosts forms and stores submissions, which are also sent to authorized Select Plastics staff by email. Service providers include Google Workspace for hosting or processing data and CallRail for phone-lead tracking.

Google Analytics measures site usage, and Google Tag Manager loads website tags. Snitcher processes IP addresses, visit activity, and browser and device information to identify visiting companies and provide company-level reports. Snitcher states that it does not disclose visitor IP addresses to us. Google reCAPTCHA protects forms from spam. Google Maps and YouTube provide embedded content and may receive browser and usage information when that content loads or is used.

4. Website advertising and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. Google Ads, including linked Google Analytics advertising features, and Meta Pixel receive browsing information such as cookie or device identifiers, pages viewed, and conversion events to measure advertising and support targeted advertising and retargeting. These advertising disclosures constitute sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law and may also constitute a sale under applicable privacy laws, even without a monetary payment. The SMS protections below apply separately.

5. Employee SMS privacy

Our employee SMS program supports scheduling, attendance, time-off requests, production updates, and related work conversations in the United States. It does not include marketing texts or automated notifications. Providing a phone number through website forms or employment records does not by itself enroll someone in employee SMS.

Employee mobile information and SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. RingCentral and telecommunications providers process information necessary to deliver and support messages. SMS consent is not transferred to other organizations for their own messaging programs or advertising audiences.

Message participants can access their conversations; group participants may see each other's numbers and messages. Authorized administrators may access messages for administration and support, and HR may access them upon request for authorized business purposes. HR, Operations Directors, and the System Admin have access to employee consent records.

Reply STOP to opt out of employee texts or HELP for assistance. You may also email helpdesk@selectplastics.net. Employees who decline or opt out may communicate by email or phone. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms and Conditions: https://selectplastics.net/pages/sms-terms.

6. Privacy choices and requests

California residents have rights to know and access personal information, request deletion, correct inaccuracies, opt out of sale or sharing, and, where applicable, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information. These rights are subject to legal exceptions. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

To ask a privacy question or submit an access, correction, or deletion request, call us toll-free at 1-888-828-2022, email helpdesk@selectplastics.net, or write to us at a contact address below. We may request information needed to verify your identity for these requests. An authorized agent may act on your behalf, subject to verification of authority. We do not require identity verification for a sale or sharing opt-out.

You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising through the Your Privacy Choices link in our website footer. We also recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a request to opt out for the browser or device sending the signal. These choices apply to advertising-related processing; they do not stop every use of information needed to operate the website or respond to your requests.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Cookie controls and advertising opt-outs serve different purposes. You may need to set your choices separately on another browser or device, or after clearing stored preferences.

California disclosures for the preceding 12 months

During the 12 months preceding the effective date, our website, forms, and related call-tracking activities involved the following categories of personal information. Categories may overlap.

Category Examples collected
Identifiers Names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, and cookie or device identifiers.
Personal information described in California Civil Code section 1798.80(e) Names, contact details, and employment information supplied in forms.
Commercial information Quote requests, project details, and products or services considered.
Internet or other electronic network activity information Pages viewed, referral sources, advertising click identifiers, campaign parameters, and conversion events.
Professional or employment-related information Company details and information submitted in job applications.
Electronic information Electronic contents of website inquiries and applications.

Sources and uses. We obtained this information directly from people submitting forms or contacting us, automatically from browsers and devices, and through the website providers identified in Section 3. We used it for the purposes in Section 2.

Business-purpose disclosures. We disclosed the categories above, as needed, to hosting, form-processing, and email providers to operate the site and handle inquiries and applications. We also disclosed identifiers and network activity to relevant analytics, call-tracking, spam-protection, visitor-identification, and embedded-content providers for the functions described in Section 3.

Advertising sale or sharing. We shared online identifiers and internet or other electronic network activity with advertising platforms Google and Meta for advertising measurement and cross-context behavioral advertising, including retargeting. We did not sell personal information for money. Section 6 explains how to opt out.

Sensitive information and children. For the activities covered by this policy, we did not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA or use or disclose it for purposes requiring a right to limit. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 and have no actual knowledge that we sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.

7. Retention

Retention varies with the information and the system in which it is held. The service-specific periods below apply to records held in those services; copies in email, downloaded files, or company records may have separate retention requirements.

Inquiries and job applications. We determine retention based on whether an inquiry or application remains active, any resulting business or employment relationship, applicable recordkeeping requirements, and the need to resolve disputes or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Typeform. Our current setup retains form responses until they are manually deleted. Deleting a response from Typeform does not delete a copy already delivered to company email or otherwise retained by us.

Google Analytics. Our configured retention is two months for event data and fourteen months for user data. These controls apply to relevant user-level and event-level data used in explorations and funnel reports, rather than standard aggregated reports. User retention may restart with new activity, depending on the setting. Google signals data is subject to a maximum of twenty-six months, with shorter configured periods taking precedence.

CallRail. Call-tracking communication records are automatically deleted after twenty-five months. Earlier deletion may be requested through CallRail. Deleted data may remain in disaster-recovery backups for up to an additional ninety days. These periods do not govern copies exported from CallRail.

Snitcher. Its browser identifier has a published lifetime of one year, and session information expires after thirty minutes of inactivity. These are browser-storage periods. Snitcher does not specify a fixed retention period for the visitor data on its servers in the public documentation reviewed for this policy. Privacy requests about this processing may be directed to our helpdesk.

Employee SMS records. We determine message retention based on ongoing work communications, administration, and applicable recordkeeping or dispute-resolution needs. Consent and opt-out records are retained to document messaging permissions, honor preferences, and address related complaints or legal requirements.

8. Policy updates

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We will review this policy at least annually and provide any additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
